At Hill, we are challenged to step out of our comfort zones and encouraged to be a part of all aspects of the community. This brings students and faculty together as a family and truly embodies The Family Boarding School.

Boarding/Day: I was a day student for three years and I now live on campus for my sixth form (senior) year.

Activities at Hill: I am a member of the varsity field hockey, swimming and diving, and track and field teams. I also serve as the assistant executive director and co-executive head of marketing for the Mini-THON club.

Favorite Hill memory or tradition: I love the strong sense of community at The Hill, and how involved everyone is wherever you go on- and off-campus! My favorite Hill School tradition is seated meals in the Dining Room with your advisory, team, and friends. I also really enjoy the School's long-standing and competitive rivalry with the Lawrenceville School. The week leading up to athletics competitions is filled with Hill pride as we enjoy spirit days, pep rallies, and bonfire.

Classes/teachers that have influenced you in some way: During my English 1 class, Mrs. Neese taught me how to write a descriptive essay as well how to think for myself and to voice my opinion whenever I feel necessary. In my 20th Century History class with Mrs. Zwoyer, I learned how to look at history and the world differently. This skill has helped me voice my own thoughts about everything ranging from politics to speaking up in the classroom.
