What activities are you involved in?: I am a member of the varsity girls' soccer and crew teams, as well as the student-led club, G.U.T.S. (Girls Understanding Their Strengths). I also serve as the vice-president of the Student Philanthropy Council and the Student Government Association. 

What is your favorite Hill School memory or tradition:  I loved jumping into the pool with my friends to celebrate the boys' water polo team's win over our rival, The Lawrenceville School!

Classes/current teachers that have influenced you in some way: Mr. Miller’s U.S. History class has been the most influential class I have taken during my time at Hill. Not only is the classroom dynamic more fluid, but his class was not confined to just facts. Instead of copying notes, memorizing them, and then taking a test, Mr. Miller taught me how to embrace my curiosity and to keep asking questions. To take it a step further, we would connect everything that we were learning in class with things that currently were happening around the globe. Mr. Miller showed me how to interpret texts and information in an informal, but engaging atmosphere. The classroom setting that he created was something that I looked for when deciding where to apply to college.
