Boarding/Day: I am boarding student
Activities at Hill: I participate in strength and conditioning during the fall season to prepare for varsity ice hockey (winter), and lacrosse (spring). I also play the cello in The Hill School Orchestra.
Favorite Hill memory or tradition: My favorite Hill School tradition is Hill vs. Lawrenceville Weekend. This is a fun time when the entire School comes together to cheer each other on as we take on our rival, The Lawrenceville School. This weekend is a time when it's evident how much Hill’s community cares about and supports one another.
Classes/teachers that have influenced you in some way: Mrs. Neiswender, Hill's director of instrumental music, who is so much more than just my Orchestra teacher. I started playing the cello when I was eight years old and I have played ever since. However, before I got to Hill, I stopped playing due to my passion for hockey. When I arrived at Hill, Mrs. Neiswender helped me rekindle my passion for playing the cello. She also has helped me develop my character by showing me how to have fun and enjoy what you are doing, while at the same time stay focused and disciplined. I am extremely grateful to have her as a teacher.
