The Whatsoever Things Are True Award

The Executive Committee of the Alumni Association is pleased to announce the launch of The Whatsoever Things Are True Award, to be given to a deserving alum for the first time in 2024. Learn more and submit a nomination below.

The Whatsoever Things Are True Award is the highest honor bestowed upon an alum of The Hill School. It is named after the School’s motto and is given to an alum of The Hill School who has made the world a better place by speaking or acting on what is true, even when difficult or unpopular, reflecting the values of honor, service, and leadership that were instilled in them as a student. The recipient’s societal impact is driven by a single act or a life’s work. The recipient has parlayed their Hill School education into doing purposeful good, making an extraordinary impact on their community and the world around them.

Criteria

  • A nominee must be an alum of The Hill School. All alums, living and deceased, are eligible.
  • Living nominees can be at any stage of their life or career.
  • Nominees need not be famous or well-known, either within The Hill community or beyond it.
  • Anyone (affiliated with The Hill School or not) can submit a nomination. Nominations are submitted via The Hill School website (below).
  • This award is given annually by the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association.
  • Submission deadline is December 31, 2024.
