Other Volunteer Opportunities
- Overseen by the Regional Chapter Subcommittee, Regional Chapter Volunteers help offer opportunities for Hill alumni, parents, and friends to congregate, connect, and engage in a specific region of the world through social, career, cultural, and community service events. Those with time and passion are encouraged to contact chapter leadership to get more involved. Learn more about our regional chapters.
- The nine members of the Alumni Association Executive Committee (AAEC), lead The Hill School Alumni Association toward its goal of strengthening the ties between alumni and the School by sharing ideas and the experiences of its diverse membership.
- Reunion Committee members are involved with planning events during Reunion Weekend and encouraging classmates to attend Reunion and make a donation to The Hill on behalf of their Reunion year. This goal is accomplished by making phone calls, sending personal emails or letters, social media posts, and attending other Hill events. The ideal Reunion Committee member loves The Hill, is excited about Reunion Weekend, and leads by example as an annual donor.
- The role of a Class Secretary or Agent is to help strengthen the connection classmates have with The Hill. Your conversations - along with your personalized letters, emails, and social networking - are the most effective means of keeping your classmates connected and engaged with their alma mater. The class secretary serves as the primary liaison between The Hill School and your class, with the Class Agents offering additional support. The ideal secretary and agent keep up to date with current events at The Hill; lead by example as annual donors to The Hill Fund; provide updates on classmates (e.g. change of address, career changes, marriages, etc.); and are willing to ask fellow alumni for their support to The Hill Fund.
