Alumni Winter Games

How much athletics can be packed into one day?  Saturday, January 11 certainly tested those limits.  The day started with the 9th annual Bissell ’33 Invitational Tournament.  Hill wrestling had an impressive showing and took second place.  The 2020 Athletics Hall of Fame classed was announced.  Returning alumni took to the ice and the court to show that they still had game.  The alumni hockey game took on legacy proportions when for the first time in Hill hockey history, father and daughter alumni goaltenders (Peter '82 and Maddie ’19 Taubkin) squared off in net.  While it was a win either way for the Taubkins, Peter walked away with the bragging rights.  Following the competitions, Alumni enjoyed watching our current students compete in athletic contests throughout the afternoon.  Missed out on the action?  Plan to join us next year to show us what you’ve got!
