In 2012, The Hill School Athletics Hall of Fame was formed to honor the outstanding athletes, coaches, teams, and builders from the School’s illustrious athletics history.  Beginning with the presentation of the Founders Hall and inaugural induction class during Reunion Weekend 2012, the annual Hall of Fame induction cycle has included the announcement of that year’s induction class during Reunion Weekend with the formal ceremony taking place on the Friday evening of The Hill vs. Lawrenceville Weekend in November.

This past spring, after researching the induction timelines of several peer institutions, the Hall of Fame Selection Committee voted to move to an every-other-year induction cycle in which the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is held on years when The Hill vs. Lawrenceville games are at home.  The ceremony will continue to be held on the Friday evening before the Lawrenceville games.

The selection process will take place during years in which Lawrenceville Weekend is away.  Rather than announcing the induction class during Reunion Weekend, the announcement will now take place in January during the Alumni Winter Games Day.

With these changes, the next Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place in November 2020.  The 2020 induction group will be announced on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
