For the first time in Hill School history, the varsity baseball team has earned a MAPL title, after their 6-2 win over Blair Academy on Saturday, May 10, 2025. With a record of 10-2 in the MAPL, the team shares the MAPL Co-Championship title with the Hun School of Princeton. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the Hill program, showcasing the team's dedication and perseverance.

According to Head Coach Ed Turner, the team's success can be attributed to the players' passion for continuous improvement. "We have many guys on the team who simply love to work at getting better, both as individuals and as a team," Coach Turner said. "Many of our sixth formers have modeled the type of commitment necessary to achieve something special, and a lot of our under formers are eager to take the baton in our future seasons."

Reflecting on this achievement, Coach Turner expressed his pride and satisfaction. "To have achieved this milestone for the team, the program, and the School is special,” he remarked. “Sharing a MAPL title with a program like Hun, who has won five consecutive outright MAPL titles, is noteworthy. I'm happy and proud of this team."

Congratulations, Hill Baseball!
