On Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 4 p.m., The Hill School and Pottstown High School varsity softball teams will play a non-league game at The Hill School’s Jim Long Field, which will serve as a fundraiser for the "Two Teams, One Town" initiative. All funds raised from “Two Teams, One Town” will directly benefit local student-athletes by subsidizing pitching or catching lessons, travel or recreational softball fees, collegiate scholarships, softball clinic fees, as well as other approved softball-related fees.

“For me, this is a very special game. I have spent my entire coaching career within the Pottstown community,” says Hill Head Softball Coach Jon McKee P’17.

“I spent several years coaching with the Pottstown Little League as well as Pottstown High School and now, finally, at Hill. The ‘Two Teams, One Town’ initiative has been a great joint venture between The Hill and Pottstown communities and has opened the door to help provide resources to many in the Pottstown community.  We would like to thank all those who have supported the initiative over the last four years.”

Monetary and equipment donations to the “Two Teams, One Town” campaign may be made at the game on April 11 or by contacting Pottstown High School Softball Head Coach Beth Yoder at Eyoder@pottstownk12.org or Hill Softball Head Coach Jon McKee at jmckee@thehill.org. All checks can be made out to Pottstown High School Softball with "Two Teams, One Town" as the memo line.

Questions regarding the Pottstown Softball Fund “Two Teams, One Town” initiative may be directed to Coach Yoder or Coach McKee at the email addresses noted above.
