In collaboration with Students Advocating for Mental Health (SAMH), Dr. Lisa Roethling and the Counseling Center, and The Alex Archie Foundation, The Hill School proudly joins our varsity lacrosse teams in raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
The lacrosse games held at Madden Stadium during the weekend of May 9-10, 2025, will support the Alex Archie Foundation. The boys' team will play on Friday, May 9 at 7 p.m., and the girls’ team will play on Saturday, May 10 at 11:30 a.m.
A special event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the Lehrman Pavilion as the players, coaches, and members of The Hill community come together for an evening of hope and support. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a suicide awareness t-shirt, which features #16, the jersey number of the late Alex Archie, a 2007 Hill post-graduate lacrosse player. During halftime at both games, Alex’s parents, Tom and Lisa Archie, will honor their son and offer an inspiring message to the players and coaches.
The Alex Archie Foundation is dedicated to empowering student-athletes in both their academic and athletic journeys while relentlessly advocating for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
