Boys' Ice Hockey

Hill School ice hockey has been a part of New England Prep School hockey for more than 55 years. As an independent Division I prep program and associate member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), The Hill plays against some of the top talent from New England and the Mid-Atlantic.

Our varsity team typically plays 30+ games each season, and well over half of those are against NEPSAC opponents. Locally, The Hill is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League, which also includes Lawrenceville, Princeton Day School, Wyoming Seminary, The Hun School, LaSalle College High School, and Portledge School. The Blues practice and play their home games on campus at Hall/Eccleston Arena, a multi-million dollar indoor facility that holds nearly 500 spectators and features state of the art locker rooms for all players.

In addition to the varsity team, the boys hockey program also features a junior varsity team. The JV schedule consists of 16-18 games against a combination of JV and appropriately competitive varsity-level prep and public school teams from throughout the region. Between practices and games, the JV team typically is on the ice six days per-week throughout the season.
