The weeks leading up to spring break were busy! A group of students traveled to Hershey, Pa. for the Pennsylvania DECA state competition on Wednesday, Feb. 20 - Friday, Feb. 22. On Thursday, Feb. 21 the final fencing competition of the year was held on campus. Taylor Duffany and Henry Chen both went undefeated for the winter season!

On Saturday, Feb. 23, members of The Hill community gathered for a night of skating, food, and fun for the annual Skate Against Cancer event. Thanks to the great work by our student leaders, this year's event raised $700 to benefit Stretch the Ride and Emily's Smiles!

The amazing cast and crew of Shrek the Musical performed three sold-out shows in the Center For The Arts on Friday, Feb. 22 - Sunday, Feb. 24.

On Monday, Feb. 25, we celebrated the last seated meal in the temporary Dining by the Dell. The newly renovated Dining Hall will be open when students return from spring break!

The varsity boys' hockey team defeated top-seed Lawrenceville 4-2 to claim the program’s third Mid-Atlantic Hockey League title in the past four seasons.

Sydney Floyd '21 set a new school record at the Pennsylvania Indoor Track and Field State Championship meet, which was held at Penn State University on Sunday, Feb. 24. She ran the girls’ 200-meter dash in 25.80 seconds, nearly a half-second personal best in the event and a new school record! 

Members of The Hill News staff traveled to Yale University to attend the Yale Daily News High School Journalism Symposium. Eva Wu '20 won for Best Opinion Column. 

On Sunday, Feb. 24, students "supported local" with trips downtown to Splitting Edge ax throwing and Ice House for Sunday brunch. 

Students had an adjusted schedule for the final week of the winter term. Students departed on Friday, March 1 for spring break. Classes resume Tuesday, March 19.
