Campus Life
November 29 through December 5, 2021

Students returned to campus after Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, November 29. To kick off Hill’s H Term, students and faculty participated in a school-wide day of service on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. H Term is The Hill School’s distinctive, experiential, and interdisciplinary mini term held between the Thanksgiving and winter holiday breaks.

The Day of Service was organized by Hobart’s Run, The Hill’s neighborhood improvement initiative, in collaboration with local businesses and community non-profits. Many of the projects helped to prepare the Pottstown area for the holiday season such as hanging wreaths, stringing lights on trees, painting windows, crafting holiday cards, raking leaves, and decorating community gardens. Other groups visited local nursing homes to help residents address holiday cards to family members and hang holiday decorations.

On Thursday evening, sixth and fifth form students gathered on campus to decorate Christmas trees and spend time with friends. Other on-campus evening activities throughout the weekend included decorating gingerbread houses and game night in the Quadrivium.
