Campus Life
December 13 through 17, 2021 (H Term)

This week marked the end of Hill's H Term with classes continuing throughout the week. Many courses - including Street Photography, Get Outdoors, Up Close and Personal: Connecting with Pottstown Nonprofits and Businesses - spent time off campus exploring downtown Pottstown and the great outdoors!

On Monday evening, students enrolled in Mr. McGriff's Short Play Festival course entertained a live audience with the original plays they had written and directed (and many also starred in) during H Term.

Throughout the past week, Mrs. Yoon Soo Lim P’17’18, Hill’s Oaklawn Tuttle Director of Vocal Music, worked with students who had all ranges of singing experience to create a “pop-up choir.” In less than a week, these determined and talented students selected and rehearsed music, learned about the history of Christmas carols and Christmas traditions at The Hill, and designed the “Hill Christmas Festival.” The course culminated in a beautiful service in the Alumni Chapel on Wednesday night.

We celebrated our students' work at the H Term Showcase on Thursday evening. The event included student presentations as well as performances featuring students enrolled in the Rock Band and Short Play Festival H Term courses.

Students departed campus on Friday, December 17 for the start of the holiday break. We will welcome students back to Hill in early 2022 with classes resuming on January 5.
