HIGHLIGHTS OF THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY INCLUDE:
Commencement Address by Edward C. Congdon '04 Senior Master Teacher of English Ned Ide P’09 ’13. Remarks offered by the Head of School and Sixth Form Class Day Speaker. Presentation of Commencement Prizes and Hill School diplomas. The traditional jump in the Dell.
All guests must register for the Class Day Gala Dinner, Awards and Dessert Reception, and Commencement Ceremony.

CLASS DAY GALA EVENT DETAILS | Friday, May 27, 2022
  • Each member of the Class of 2022 may invite two guests to attend the dinner. Seating for this event is preassigned.
  • Each member of the Class of 2022 may invite four guests to attend the Class Day Awards and Dessert Reception. Seating for this event is open.
  • All guests must be registered by May 13. Register here.  
  • Please be sure to pick up your Commencement Welcome Packet at the Center For The Arts check-in area beginning at 5 p.m. The packet will contain important information about the weekend including your tickets for the Baccalaureate Service.
BACCALAUREATE & COMMENCEMENT EVENT DETAILS | Saturday, May 28, 2022
  • Each member of the Class of 2022 may invite two guests to attend the Baccalaureate Service inside the Alumni Chapel. Tickets are required for this event and will be included in the registration packet you will receive upon your campus arrival.
  • The Baccalaureate Service will be livestreamed to the Quadrangle for additional guests to enjoy.
  • Seating for Commencement is first come, first served. All guests must be registered by May 13. Register here
  • Guests who did not pick up their Commencement Welcome Packets on Friday containing their Baccalaureate tickets may arrive at the registration area located at the Center For The Arts beginning at 8 a.m.
  • Event is rain or shine. Overflow seating will not be tented, so in the event of inclement weather, please bring rain jackets. Umbrellas will not be permitted.
  • Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
  • The Commencement Ceremony will be livestreamed and available on The Hill School’s website for those family and friends not able to travel to campus.
All guests should follow CDC Guidelines for domestic and international travel in place at the time of the event.
