COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Each student is required to carry health insurance that covers full care in Pennsylvania.  Please call your insurance carrier to ensure that your child’s present insurance plan provides coverage in Pennsylvania.  If the plan does not provide full coverage in Pennsylvania, please discuss with your insurance company the possibility of obtaining a rider to cover your child in Pennsylvania during the school months.  If coverage in Pennsylvania is not an option through your current insurance policy, please contact Mrs. Dawn Norman at dnorman@thehill.org regarding options.

Use the electronic health record secure patient portal to fill out and upload health forms.  Visit https://hillschool.medicatconnect.com. 

It is the School’s expectation that our community will receive the primary series vaccination against COVID-19. In addition, the booster is recommended. Please see the vaccine policy for details regarding specific exemptions that may be granted on a limited basis.

Fill out Student COVID-19 Waiver.  Use the “Upload” tab in the Electronic Health Record Patient Portal to upload this document under “COVID-19 ExemptionWaiver 2024-2025.”  A new waiver must uploaded each school year. 

The flu shot is required for all community members.  With rare exception, exemptions are permitted for medical contraindication or sincerely held religious beliefs.  Please see the “Influenza Vaccine Information and Consent” form on the patient portal for more details.

Please refer to the medication policy in the Handbook and the “Medication Policy & Agreement” on the patient portal. 

The Wellness Center is open 24 hours each day while school is in session.  Your child may walk in at any time.  Between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m., your child needs to call Security at 610-327-3060 for an escort.

Your child will be evaluated and stabilized on campus by the Wellness Center and/or Athletic Training staff and then transported as necessary to the Pottstown Hospital Emergency Department.  If the injury occurs away from campus at an athletic or school-related event, a Hill employee supervising the activity will transport your student to the nearest hospital for further care.
