I am grateful for my time at Hill because  I would never be the person I am today without it.  Hill gave me a chance to really prove to myself what I capable of and stand out as a person. I am also grateful for the people I’ve met here who I will be friends with for the rest of my life.

Hill activities: Prefect, Varsity Football Captain, Jazz Band President, and Young Republicans Club Vice President

Unforgettable Hill moment: Beating Lawrenceville in our football game for the first time in a decade this year.  It was a great way to cap off my football career and I will never forget that day and what it felt like to defeat them.

Favorite Hill tradition: Chapel.  It is a time to take a little break from the stresses of everyday life and listen to stories and life lessons.

Favorite Dining Hall meal:  chicken fingers and macaroni & cheese

My Hill experience taught me . . . I have definitely learned some important life skills such as managing my time, getting to know people whom I wouldn’t normally talk to, and how I am as a leader and what I need to work on to be a better one.

I am going to miss . . . all of my friends and playing the sports that I have played for all my life.

Future plans . . . Attending the Virginia Military Institute on a ROTC scholarship and majoring in history and a minoring in military history.  Upon graduation from VMI, I will be commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and become an infantry officer as a paratrooper or Special Forces. One day, I hope to work at the Pentagon.
